Select your desired connection and buy your ticket or day pass directly online for carefree hours on Lake Walen. Tickets purchased online are valid for one year.
Special registration
Groups of 10 or more people, wheelchairs and bicycles must be registered in advance by e-mail to info@walenseeschiff.ch or by telephone on +41 81 720 34 34.
Single trips
Day ticket
- Free travel on all scheduled boats for one day
- 17% online discount: CHF 30.00 instead of CHF 35.00
- The day pass is valid for one year from the date of purchase
Family day ticket
- Two parents with their own children up to the age of 16
- Free travel on all scheduled boats for 1 day
- 17% online discount: CHF 60.00 instead of CHF 70.00
Senior day ticket (only available on the ship)
- Day pass at half price
- valid every Monday during the summer season (excluding public holidays)
- exclusively for pensioners
Scope of validity
Valid on the cross-course (Murg-Quinten): OSTWIND network travelcard for "Zone 389" or "all zones"
Valid on the entire lake: OSTWIND Day Pass Plus, Junior Card or Children's Co-travelcard (only valid in conjunction with the OSTWIND Day Pass Plus)
Not valid on the entire lake: Half-Fare travelcard, GA travelcard, GA Night travelcard, tickets purchased using the SBB Mobile app, day passes for the Half-Fare travelcard, Municipal Supersaver Day Pass, Junior Travelcard or Children's Co-travelcard (only valid in conjunction with the OSTWIND Day Pass Plus)
Additional information
- All tickets are available in the webshop and on the ship. It is not possible to purchase tickets via the SBB app.
- Bicycles: no bicycles are transported from Quinten, Au and Murg. On the Weesen-Walenstadt-Weesen route, bicycles are transported if possible and on request.
- Wheelchairs: no electric wheelchairs can be transported from Murg West and Murg East. All wheelchairs must be registered in advance, as not all boats are wheelchair-accessible.
- Baby carriages can be transported on all cruise ships. No advance booking is required for this.
- Delays: In the event of fog, storms or for operational reasons, scheduled boats may be delayed or even canceled.
- Children under the age of 6 travel free of charge, except for groups such as MuKi, KiTa and kindergarten.
- Children from 6 to 16 years and dogs travel at half price.
- Children's days: Children up to the age of 16 travel free of charge on the scheduled boats on the first Wednesday of every month (excluding public holidays).
