With our six passenger ships and one cargo ship, we are out and about on the "Swiss fjord" every day - whether on cruises, event trips or private occasions. To ensure that our guests experience Lake Walen at its best, we are looking for motivated crew members with a host's heart and team spirit for the 2026 season (temporary seasonal position from April to November).

Your mission on board
- You look after our guests and make sure that they feel completely at ease
- You sell tickets, check tickets and season tickets and give excursion tips for the region
- You provide guests with snacks and drinks - always with a smile
- You also make our event trips such as weddings or team events a culinary experience by serving food and aperitifs
- In emergencies, you stay calm, act safely and can provide first aid
- Order and cleanliness on board are a matter of course for you
- You help with mooring and casting off, secure the ship and lend a hand in rough seas
What you bring with you
- Enjoy dealing with people - you are a born host
- Flexibility for shift work, including evenings and weekends
- Team spirit, resilience and physical fitness
- Fluency in German
- Advantage: Experience in gastronomy/service and local knowledge

Sales Consultant:in Events & Gastronomy 80-100%
With us, you combine sales, event organization and catering management in a unique role. No two days are the same - you advise guests, plan events, develop culinary offers and are also on board yourself when your events become reality. Specifically, your area of responsibility is as follows:
Sales & Events
- Guest consulting for public and private event trips (boat rentals)
- Assistance with the planning and organization of public event trips
- Creating quotes, confirmations and invoices for private events
- Carrying out ship inspections and coordinating event preparation
- Accompaniment of the trips on the ship and on-site contact person
Gastronomy
- Support with the gastronomic offer design incl. calculation
- Maintaining cooperation with catering partners and suppliers
- Purchase of drinks, snacks and consumables
- Control of deliveries and stock levels as well as inventory responsibility
- Support with training in the service and catering sector
What you bring with you
- Training in gastronomy (hotel, restaurant) or in the commercial sector, ideally with further training in the other field
- Experience in advising guests, sales and/or event organization
- Organizational talent, networked thinking and enjoy taking on responsibility independently
- Host mentality: You have a warm and professional demeanor and enjoy direct contact with guests
- Routine in dealing with MS-Office
- Uncomplicated, upbeat and flexible personality who enjoys working in a team

Sales Consultant & Operations Coordinator 80-100%
As part of the sales team, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with expert advice and ensuring that they can enjoy their trip to Lake Walen to the full. At the same time, you will work in operations management and will be gradually introduced to scheduling - with the aim of taking on overall responsibility and management of this area in the medium term. In order to get to know our company in depth, you will also gain practical experience at sea and work on our ships. Specifically, your area of responsibility will be as follows:
Scheduling & operations management
- Coordination of trips and fleet incl. personnel and deployment planning
- Correspondence and contact with authorities and cantonal offices
- Responsible for the internal operating data system
- Purchasing for driving operations, technology and maintenance
- Schedule planning in cooperation with the management and driving operations
- Preparation of audits and operational checks and preparation of evaluations/statistics
- Support for projects in the company
Sales & Guest Service
- Telephone and personal advice for guests on course trips
- Processing of group registrations
- Creation of quotations, confirmations, subscriptions and invoices
- Daily and cash accounting incl. safe and expense management
- Contact person for our employees with questions and problems in ticket sales
What you bring with you
- Commercial training and professional experience in sales, purchasing or scheduling
- Strong customer orientation and enjoyment of direct contact with guests
- Leadership skills and willingness to take on a management position
- Organizational skills and the ability to set priorities correctly
- Independent and structured way of working and networked thinking
- Very good MS Office skills and IT affinity
