Breathtaking waterfall in Berschis

The Berschnerfall above Berschis near Walenstadt is 46m high and is a so-called "single fall" according to the waterfall type category. It is well hidden, but no less impressive. From the village of Berschis, it takes around 25 minutes to hike into a small ravine, where the Berschnerfall suddenly piles up in front of the visitor after a bend around a small rock.

An information point in the village of Berschis provides information about the Berschner Falls and points the way to the site. The information point is located in the village at the junction of Bachsandweg and Cavortschstrasse on the way to St. Georgenhügel.

Tip: Visit the waterfall in spring when the snow is melting or after heavy rainfall.
