Berschner case

The Berschnerfall near Walenstadt is a 46-metre-high waterfall that is well hidden in a small ravine. A hiking trail leads from the village of Berschis to the waterfall in around 25 minutes.

From the village of Berschis, it takes around 25 minutes to hike into a small ravine, where the Berschnerfall suddenly piles up in front of the visitor after a bend around a small rock.

An information point in the village of Berschis provides information about the Berschner Falls and points the way to the site. The information point is located in the village at the junction of Bachsandweg and Cavortschstrasse on the way to St. Georgenhügel.

Tip: Visit the waterfall in spring when the snow is melting or after heavy rainfall.
