Spend the night in a historic building
The Kublihaus is almost 300 years old and is situated in a quiet location about 10-15 minutes from the village of Quinten. Senator Kubli once lived in this house. He was the leading speaker in the Anna Göldin trial, the last witch in Europe. Quinten is car-free. It is advisable to arrive with rucksacks, as the road is not very suitable for suitcases.
The Kublihaus was renovated inside and out in 2004. The living rooms and bedrooms are very cozy with lots of wood and old wooden beams in the walls and ceiling. Individual stoves, fan heaters, radiators and underfloor heating provide warmth on cold nights. However, the Kublihaus has no air conditioning.
