Murg lido
Sunbathing lawn, pebble beach and diving platform
The Murg lido is located on the southern shore of Lake Walen on the small peninsula in Murg. The bathing area offers a pebble beach and a magnificent view of the mountain scenery opposite. At the Badi in Murg, you can enjoy swimming in Lake Walen on a spacious pebble beach. There is a diving platform (1m) in the lake. There are benches and a barbecue area for a picnic after swimming. Right next to the bathing area to the west is the Murg campsite with WC facilities, changing rooms and a snack kiosk. The Murg lido is freely accessible and unguarded at all times. The kiosk is open from April to October during the camping season. It is around 150m or five minutes from Murg railroad station to the bathing area. There are public parking spaces in various places in the village.
