In addition to a pebble beach and a spacious sunbathing lawn with lots of trees, the bathing facility in Walenstadt offers a diving platform (3m) and a raft in Lake Walen. Toilets, showers, lockers and changing rooms are available at the "Neptun" beach restaurant right next to the beach. There is no lifeguard on site, swimming is at your own risk. The beach section in Walenstadt is freely accessible at all times. The Neptun beach bar is open in the summer months from April to October, depending on weather conditions. The Walensee Schifffahrtsgesellschaft boat landing stage is right next door, as is the "Walenstadt, Hafen" bus stop. Walenstadt railroad station is around 500m away. Drivers will find paid parking spaces right on the beach.
